Conway believes that the voice is an extension of the self, and each person’s unique instrument should be celebrated. Lessons are meant to explore, enhance, and strengthen the natural abilities and qualities of a voice. Conway’s mission as a teacher is to foster agency, musicianship, and sustainable singing habits in their students, providing clarity and guidance along each one’s vocal journey. They teach with empathy, curiosity, and a healthy dose of humor and whimsy.

What to Expect

Lessons with Conway are fun and exploratory in nature, largely shaped by the students’ individual goals, needs, and learning styles. You’ll make silly noises, move around, and engage in conversation aimed at bettering your understanding and mastery of your instrument. The ultimate goal: you, using your voice to make the music that makes you happy.

Lessons are a team effort, intended to provide you with tools for practice and empower you towards further vocal development (with or without Conway!).
